Eleanor M. Bibus, 82, of Macungie, formerly of Newtown, died May 23, 2008 in her residence. She was the wife of John H. Bibus. They celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on April 4, 2008. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Eleanor C. (Reid) Schminke. She worked for the former Central Penn and Meridian Bank in Southampton for 26 years, retiring in 1985 as an officer. She was a member of St. Anns Catholic Church, Emmaus. Survivors: Husband; Son, John M. Bibus and wife Merle J. of Churchville; Daughter, Margaret M. wife of Timothy C. Gravatt of Quakertown; Sister, Dolores Foust of Florida; Grandchildren, Jennifer L., Michelle L., Denise M., Kristen R., Karen A. and Jeffrey M.; Great Grandchildren, Amber, Kaitlyn, Dylan, Timothy, Zackary and Rylie Services: Friday, May 30, 2008 at 11:30 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main Street, Emmaus followed by a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM in St. Anns Catholic Church, 415 South 6th St., Emmaus.
