Eileen S. Bitting Eileen S. Bitting, 77, of Allentown, died December 18, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of Donald R. Bitting, with whom she celebrated 571/2 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Mahlon P. and Cecilia A. (Deysher) Schuler. She was a 1954 graduate of Emmaus High School and served on the reunion committee. She was employed by Day Timers for 25 years, retiring in 1996. She was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church and was a member of the Sears Retiree Organization. Survivors: Husband, Donald Bitting; Son, Dwight D. Bitting and wife Cheryl of Coplay; Grandchildren, Blake, Justin, and Kaela and Great Granddaughter, Jocelyn Gehris. She was predeceased by a daughter, Carol L. Bitting and Sisters, Eleanor Bortz, Mabel Krause, Margaret Stimmel, Florence Kiess, and Lorraine Fegely. Services: Funeral Service Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM in Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, 3441 Devonshire Road, Allentown, PA 18103. Viewing 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the church. Interment will follow in Western Salisbury Cemetery. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
