Edwin H. Fischer, Jr., 69, of Orefield, died May 19, 2022 in his home surrounded by his family.  He was the husband of Cindy S. (Smith) Fischer.  Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Eva K. (Hillegass) and Edwin H. Fischer, Sr.  He was a 1971 graduate of Emmaus High School.  Eddie began working as a farmer for Jeras Corporation for 12 years and later worked for Thermco Products for 40 years, retiring in 2016.  He was a member of the Mercantile Club of Emmaus.

Edwin is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Cindy; daughter, Wendy L. Grim of Emmaus; grandsons, Brett M. Grim and Levi S. Grim; great grandchildren, Christian, Haven, Blaze, and Suriah; sister, Thelma Schaffer of Powder Valley.  He was predeceased by a grandson, Noah A. Grim.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 7:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main Street, Emmaus, Pa 18049.  Viewing 6:00 to 7:00 PM in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
