Edward A. Brown would like to announce a change of address. HE now resides with the glorious Father Almighty and has found the answer to questions that each of us has regarding eternity. Edward A. Brown, 91, of Emmaus died Sept. 23, 2023 in St. Luke's Hospital Allentown Campus. He was the husband of the late Mary Jane (Moyer) Brown. Born in Punxsutawney, he was the son of the late David E. and Anna (Harvey) Brown. He honorably served his country as a Navy Hospital Corpsman, attached to the Marine Corps, during the Korean war. Ed worked for Mack Trucks for many years, retiring in 1987 as Plant 4 Sheet Metal Superintendent. He was a member of St. John's U.C.C., Emmaus. Ed loved hunting, golfing, and traveling and was a life member of Fire Co. #2, Emmaus and Mack Management Club.
Edward is survived by his son, Tad A. Brown and wife Kimberly of Denver, PA; daughters, Kim L. wife of Jeffrey Freeman of Kutztown, Jan E. wife of Dan Lichtenwalner of Macungie, and Amy J. Brown of Emmaus; grandchildren, Melanie, Meredith, Edward II, Zachary, Kayli, Kristofer, Katlin, Drew, and Kate; 6 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Edward A. Brown.
Funeral services will be held on Fri., Sept. 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM in St. John's U.C.C., 139 N. 4th St., Emmaus, PA 18049. Viewing Thurs. 7:00 to 8:30 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St, Emmaus and Fri. 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church. Entombment with military honors will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to St. John's U.C.C. at the address listed above.
