Earl W. Mory, 96, formerly of Emmaus, died Dec. 26, 2013. He was the widower of Frances A. (Ziegler) Mory. Born in Steinsburg, Lehigh County, he was the son of the late William G. and Mabel S. (Derr) Mory. He worked for Widder Brother's Silk Mill, East Penn Foundry, and Tyler Pipe Company. He was a member of Solomon's U.C.C., Macungie where he served as a deacon, elder, and trustee. He was a life member of the Emmaus Mercantile Club, Macungie Fire Company, and Citizen's Fire Co. #1. He was a former member of the Emmaus Nest of Owls. Survivors: Sons, Donald E. Mory and wife Nancy Ann of Weilersville, Glenn B. Mory and wife Rose Marie of Macungie, and Larry G. Mory and wife Nancy of Emmaus; Daughter, Kay E. wife of William Gordon of Palm Coast, FL; Step Brother, Elmer Mory and wife Doris of Emmaus; 9 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by a grandson, Dale. Services: Funeral Services Mon., Dec. 30, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
