Earl L. Kichline, Sr., 84, of Allentown, died September 25, 2015 in his residence. He was the husband of June M. (Kates) Kichline. Born in Akron, OH, he was the son of the late Clark R. and Pauline V. (Heckman) Kichline. He was a professional driver in the Lehigh Valley area for many years. He was an active member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, serving on the building and grounds committee, past president and member of the joint board, sang on the choir for many years, and was a past member of church council. He honorably served his country in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Lehigh Lodge #326, the Rajah Shrine, and the Emmaus American Legion. Survivors: Wife; Sons, Earl L. Kichline, Jr. and wife Pearl of New Tripoli, Karl T. Kichline and wife Catherine of Macungie, and Adam J. Kichline and wife Karen of Souderton; Daughter, Cleo P. wife of John Demidont of Center Valley; Brother, Robert D. Kichline and wife Dolly of Macungie; Sister-in-Law, Jean Kichline of Topton; 5 Grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Clark W. Kichline and a sister, Pauline C. Ecker. Services: Funeral Services will be held Friday, Oct. 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, 3441 Devonshire Road, Allentown, PA 18103. Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church. Interment with military honors will follow in Western Salisbury Cemetery. Schantz Funeral Home P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
