E. Paul Mattson E. Paul Mattson, 93, of Allentown, formerly of Van Etten, NY, died November 15, 2007 in the Phoebe Home. He was the husband of Ellen L. (Flinkman) Mattson. They celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary December 24, 2006. Born in Twilight, he was the son of the late Matenboyka and Mary (Hyytti) Karkas. He was a truck driver for Hyman Etess Trucking, Spencer, NY. He was an avid gardener, fisherman and reader of western novels. Survivors: He will be sadly missed by his wife; daughters, Ellen M. Mattson of Bristol, CT, Sandra P. Denora of Allentown, Eugenie I. Mattson of Allentown, Sharon O. wife of Michael Hodge of Phoenix, AZ; son, E. Paul Mattson and wife Sharon of Scottsdale, AZ; brother-in-law Robert Flinkman of Erin, NY; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Services: Friends may call Monday November 19th from 7:00-8:30 PM in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main Street, Emmaus.
