Obituary

Dustin H. "Dusty" Longenberger, 87, of Greentown, died May 22, 2014 in his residence. He was the husband of Betty Ann (Ortwein) Longenberger. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Nelson L and Anna N. (Knoll) Longenberger. He worked in the Fire Dept. at Bethlehem Steel, was a grid caster for Exide Battery, worked at Paupack Hills Golf Course and for the Comfort Inn. He honorably served his country in the Navy during WWII and Korea. He was a life member of the Emmaus VFW and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hawley. Survivors: Wife; Daughter, Gail A. Caldarelli of Allentown; Stepsons, Richard Meyers of Bethlehem and James Meyers of Bethlehem; Stepdaughters, Donna Fegley of Center Valley, Linda Hummel of MI, and Joan Hirst of Allentown; Brother, Robert Longenberger of Allentown; Grandchildren, Jason and Dana; Great Granddaughters, Marissa and Elizabeth; 5 Step Grandchildren and 1 Step Great Granddaughter. Services: Funeral Services with military honors will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 11:30 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 10:00 to 11:30 AM in the funeral home.
