Dorothy H. Slamon, 96, of Luther Crest, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, died peacefully Aug. 6, 2021.  She was the wife of the late James J. Slamon.  Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Gruver and Mary (Hughes) Huff.  Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was a former member of Firwood United Methodist Church, Wilkes-Barre.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Janie Slamon and her husband Bruce Luff of Emmaus; grandchildren, Samuel Luff, Elizabeth Luff, and Thomas Luff.  She was predeceased by a son, James Slamon and a daughter, Nancy Urey.
