Dorothy J. Ruhnke, 81, of Allentown, died Oct. 30, 2021 in her residence.  She was the wife of the late Louis R. Ruhnke.  Born in Trenton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Lillian (Anderson) Bratsko.  She was a loving homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Jeffrey L. Ruhnke of New Jersey and James P. Ruhnke of Louisville, KY; daughter, Jill H.E. Ruhnke wife of Alex DeJesus of Allentown; sister, Evelyn Emery of OH; 11 grandchildren including Zakeri M. Ruhnke and 5 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a son, John E. Ruhnke.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
