Dorothy Kelly Koval, 88, of Center Valley, died peacefully on October 5, 2017 at the Sacred Heart Senior Living facility. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Paul J. Koval of Edwardsville. Born in Rochester, NY, to the late Charles E. and Bridget M. (Gangalof) Kelly, Dorothy spent most of her growing-up years in Wilkes-Barre, PA where she graduated from the Wyoming Seminary Dean School of Business. It wasn't long before she ventured to Washington, D.C. where she excelled in her career as an Executive Administrator and became a devoted Redskins fan. In 1970 she married Paul J. Koval. Shortly after retiring from The Institute for Defense Analysis in 1981, she and Paul returned to their home state of Pennsylvania and settled in the Lehigh Valley.  Here she loved her work as an EA at Muhlenberg College and St Joseph's Catholic Church of Coopersburg, and enjoyed her numerous volunteer positions.

Survivors: Daughter, Patricia, wife of Mark Whittle of Leesburg, VA; Grandsons Alan and Simon, Nephews and Niece, Patrick, Thomas, Mark, Timothy, and Eileen.  She was predeceased by Brothers, Charles Kelly and Donald Kelly and Sister, Regina Kelly Simonson.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 5050 St. Joseph's Road, Coopersburg.  Viewing 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the church.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery on the church property.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
