Dorothy M. A. Kistler Dorothy M. A. Kistler, 80, formerly of Emmaus, died June 7, 2009 in Lehigh Center. She was the wife of Ernest O.Kistler of Lower Macungie Township. They were together for 40 years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothy (Kratzer) Frankenfield She worked in the garment industry for 45 years retiring in 1989 as plant manager for Jomar Manufacturing of Allentown and Alburtis. She was a member of ILGWU. Survivors: Husband, Sons, Clinton D. Smith of Wilmington, NC, Michael D. Smith of San Diego, CA, Ted Schantzenbach and his fiancé Debbie Bishop of Quakertown; Daughters, Linda L. wife of Robert F. Miller, Jr. of Emmaus, Barbara A. Stein of Emmaus, Yvonne D. wife of Randy Kutz of Kutztown, Wanda D. wife of William Driscoll of Las Vegas, NV; Brother, Charles F. Frankenfield of Allentown; Sister, Ethel Myers of Allentown; 15 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by Brothers, Paul and Raymond and Sisters, Irene, Margaret, Marlene, Susie, Joyce, Gail and Joan. Services: Memorial Service, June 20, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Calling hour 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
