Doris A. Rutman Doris A. Rutman, 56, of Allentown, formerly of Emmaus, died February 17, 2007 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of Larry D. Rutman. They celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary in May 2006. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Kenneth R. Earp, of Allentown and the late May (Hummel) Earp. She was a middle school teacher for the Upper Perkiomen School District until retiring. Previously she was a teacher for the Lehigh Valley Hospital Child Care Center. She received bachelors degrees from Kutztown University and Millersville University. She was a former member of Dubbs United Church of Christ, Allentown. She was a past president of the Emmaus Junior Womens Club. She was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan and loved her dog Buffy. Survivors: Husband; Father; Sons, Jeffrey A. Earp Rutman at home and his friend Debra, Jonathan W. Earp Rutman and his wife Regina of Pittsburgh; Brother, David A. Earp and his wife Louise of Allentown; 6 Grandchildren.
