Doris E. Henninger, age 66, of Emmaus, passed away on June 16, 2023 in her residence. She was the loving wife of Dennis Henninger with whom they shared 44 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late James K. Hirner and Margaret (Stringer) Diproperzio-Fry.

She loved to craft which included crocheting, sewing and wreath making. She also enjoyed playing Bingo.

Doris is survived by her husband Dennis; daughter, LuAnn Cannon and her husband Craig; sons, Dennis Henninger II and his wife Lynda and William Henninger; grandchildren, Sean Warfel, Dennis Henninger III, and Christine Feller; sister, Jean Shea and brother James Hirner. She is predeceased by sisters, Diane Pekarik and Mary A. Niedermeyer.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 7:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C. 250 Main Street, Emmaus, PA 18049. Calling hours will be from 5:00-7:00 PM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
