Doris M. Dennis, 85, of Macungie, died peacefully February 6, 2017 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the widow of Charles S. Dennis, Jr. Born in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Finger) Hutzel. Doris was a violin player with several orchestras in PA and NY. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Emmaus.

Survivors: Daughter, Theresa A. wife of Raymond Krastin of Coopersburg; Grandchildren, Adrienne, Jennifer wife of Ahmad Abusaad, and Michael; Great Grandson, Joseph. She was predeceased by a son, Richard W. Dennis and a daughter, Jean Dennis.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church, 415 S. Sixth St., Emmaus. Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church. Interment Friday, Feb. 10th at 1:00 PM in Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
