Doris M. Bower Doris M. Bower, 86, of Emmaus, formerly of Allentown died August 4, 2010 in her home. She was the wife of Richard H. Bower. They celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary in June 2010. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John and Mamie Bernecker. She was a homemaker and hostess for the former 1760 House, Trexlertown. She was a member of Emmaus Moravian Church, Emmaus Mercantile Club and Macungie AARP. Survivors: Husband; Sons, Ronald Gould and wife Susan of Bethlehem and Robert Gould of Macungie; Daughters, MaryAnn wife of Joe Kozo of Minnesota and Susan wife of Conrad Rehrig of Schnecksville; Stepson, Jeffery Bower of Dallas, TX; Stepdaughters, Barbara Bower of Cleveland, OH and Sally Convertini of Maui, HI; Brother, Harry Bernecker of Reading; Sister, Eleanor Iblings of Reading; 12 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Charles Gould; brothers, Fritz and Wayne Bernecker and a sister, Arlene Gerancher.
