Donna Lynn (Botsch) Longenbach, 70, of Coopersburg, passed away on Christmas night December 25th, 2021 surrounded by her family. Born in Brooklyn, NY, to Florence (Markert) Bisbing and the late Donald Botsch, Donna later resided in Allentown, graduating from William Allen High School in 1969. She raised her family in Emmaus and retired to Coopersburg in 2000.

Donna celebrated 50 years of marriage to Bruce J. Longenbach on June 19, 2021. Donna was a dedicated nurse for over 45 years. She was a member of the first graduating class for licensed practical nursing at Lehigh County Community College in 1971. Donna was a compassionate and caring nurse that went above and beyond for her patients and their families. Caring for respiratory therapy patients in the hospital was her main passion.

Donna was the proud mother of three daughters, spending endless hours volunteering her time to their elementary school PTA and various summer programs. She attended many class field trips and served as the class mom and served as the nurse for the inevitable cuts, scrapes or bee stings that would occur. She was also a dedicated "softball mom" who enjoyed cheering on and encouraging her daughters.

Donna was also an animal lover, specifically dogs. She volunteered for the Lehigh County Humane Society in the late 1980s. Over the years she was dog mom to Daisy, Xena and most recently Suzie, her Jack Russell Poodle, who was the light of her life.

Donna is survived by her loving husband, Bruce; daughters, Dawn Murphy (Michael) of Perkasie, Donna Jucewicz (James) of Kunkletown, and Juliane Mendonca of Dunellen, FL; grandchildren, Ashley DiPietro (Michael), Haley Murphy, Zane Young, Tyler Jucewicz, and Aaron Wakeling. She is also survived by her two grandcats Storm and PJ and her grandogs Piper and Baxley whom she loved very much.

Memorial services will be held on Tues., Jan. 4, 2022 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Donna's memory may be made to an animal rescue organization of your choice.
