Donald A. Stephen, 86, of Macungie, died January 11, 2018 in St. Luke's Hospice House. Born in Minesite, he was the son of the late Alvin O.J. and Effie H. (Hilbert) Stephen. He was a 1949 graduate of Emmaus High School. He was a carpenter for Alvin O.J. Stephen for 35 years; a member of Carpenter's Union Local 600 and later worked part time for Lexus of the Lehigh Valley during retirement. He was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, serving as a Sunday School Superintendent. He was a past member of Lehigh Lodge #677 F&AM and the Emmaus Lions Club, member of the Macungie Golf League and the Saturday morning golf league at Wedgewood golf course.

Survivors: Brother, Alvin M. Stephen and wife Linda of Allentown; Sister, Sheila Stephen of Breinigsville; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings, Lloyd E.J. Stephen, Larry R. Stephen, Kenneth Stephen, Nancy Schwindenhammer, and Barbara Stephen.

Services: Funeral Services will be held on Tues., Jan. 16, 2018 at 10:30 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 9:00 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Western Salisbury Cemetery.
