Donald R. Schneck Donald R. Schneck, 68, of Weisenberg Twp., passed away Friday, Jan. 6, 2012 at home after a brief and courageous battle with gastric cancer. He was the husband of Susan K. (Moyer) Schneck for the past 43 years. Born in Allentown on Jan. 1, 1944, he was the son of Doris R. (Kelley) Schneck and the late Arthur H. Schneck. He was president and owner of Art Schneck Optical Co. in Emmaus, founded by him and his father 51 years ago. Donald was an original founder of the East Penn Bank, now First Niagra Bank, and served on the Board of Directors. He was also an original member and past president of East Penn Area Jaycees. Donald, along with his wife and daughter, Amanda, owned and operated Blue Gate Farm, an equestrian facility in New Tripoli. He was a member of Ebenezer U.C.C. Church in New Tripoli. Survivors: Wife; mother; daughter, Amanda Kay; Brother, Dale; Sisters, Carol wife of Douglas Ritter and Debra wife of Jeffrey Stephenson. Services: Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Ebenezer U.C.C., 7293 Decatur St., New Tripoli, PA 18066. Friends may call 9:30 to 11:00 AM in the church.
