Donald P. Kloss, 57, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Aug. 16, 2016 after a long and difficult struggle with ALS. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late James J. and Annamay E. (Gray) Kloss. Don worked as a cook for the Brass Rail and the Village Inn, was kitchen supervisor for Lehigh County Prison, and owned and operated DM Bail Bondsman.

Survivors: Siblings, James Kloss and wife Jean of Lafayette, LA, Thomas Kloss and wife Eileen of Allentown, Mary Karen wife of Richard DeFrain of Slatington, Patricia wife of Bernard Boyer of Allentown, Nancy, Susan wife of Gerald Chichonski of Allentown, Alfred Kloss and wife Jennifer of Allentown, Judy wife of Donald French of Allentown, and Jane wife of Tim Daley of Bethlehem. Donald also leaves behind 14 Nieces and 11 Nephews, a wife and a stepdaughter. He was predeceased by siblings, David Kloss, husband of Leslie Kloss of Quakertown, Linda wife of John McGoey, and Edward Kloss, husband of Denise Kloss of Allentown.

Services: Funeral Services Sunday Aug. 21, 2016 at 7:30 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the funeral home.
