Donald Strickner Faust, age 91, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 19, 2023 after a short illness. We are thankful for the legacy of godliness and love he has passed down to his family.

He was born November 24, 1931, in Harrisburg, PA to Francis D. Faust and Ethel F. (Strickner) Faust. He was predeceased by his wife, Jannell E. (Focht) Faust of 67 years. He leaves behind daughters: Deborah Schoen, Emmaus, PA; Theresa Faust, SE Asia; Donna Mitchell, Phoenix, NY; and son, Michael Faust, Myerstown, PA. He is predeceased by a son, Steve Faust, age 37 in 2002. Also grieving his loss are six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Donald graduated from Gettysburg College (ROTC) and went on to serve in the US Air Force before going on to Hahnemann Medical school, serving at Polyclinic Hospital in Harrisburg, Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia and finally ending his long career as a Radiation Oncologist at the Reading Hospital.

He enjoyed nature photography, golf, sports, and travel especially to Alaska. His goal was to honor the Lord Jesus in everything he said and did. He was an active member of the local church where he served on the Mission board, as a deacon, and Bible teacher.

Services: Bethel Bible Fellowship Church Emmaus, PA. Calling hour: 10:30. Funeral: 11:30 am on Friday, November 24th. Interment will be at Berks County Memorial Gardens.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
