Dolores A. "Dolly" Miller, 79, of Emmaus, died suddenly on May 31, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She and her husband Edwin F. Miller celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in July 2014. Born in Fredericks, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Margaret (DeLong) David, and was a proud member of the Emmaus High School Class of 1954. Fondly known as Nana, she loved jigsaw puzzles (nothing under 1,000 pieces, of course), excelled at crosswords, and was always ready for a competitive game of Scrabble. Her crafting talent stemmed from a passion for sewing, drawing, crocheting, and horticultural knowledge. She was a funny, kind, compassionate woman, and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Survivors: Children: Deborah wife of Thomas Janci of Shinglehouse, Douglas Miller of Emmaus, Dale Miller and wife Jeannine (Perna) of Oley, Tammy wife of Joseph Eddinger of Allentown, and Michael Miller of Slatington; Sisters: Nancy Geary of Allentown and Linda David of Macungie; Grandchildren: Rebecca, Emily, Jordan; and Great-Grandaughter Amelia. Services: Funeral Services are Friday, June 5, 2015 at 11am in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main Street, Emmaus. Viewing is from 10-11am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Western Salisbury Cemetery.
