Diane Kay Bennett, age 77, of Emmaus, passed away on October 27, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest in Allentown. Born in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of the late Lester R. and Irene H. (Hagen) Ahnert. She was the loving wife of Michael L. Bennett with whom they would have shared 52 years of marriage in November.

She graduated from Washington High School in Milwaukee, WI in 1965. She was an executive secretary to the superintendent for Wilson School District. Diane was active with Therapy Dogs International. She loved to watch her grandkids and all of their activities.

Diane is survived by her husband Michael Bennett; sons, Chris Bennett and his wife Mindy and Sean Bennett and his wife Courtney; and grandchildren, Bryce, Brooklyn, and Melainey. She was predeceased by brother, Gary D. Ahnert.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, at 3:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C. 250 Main Street, Emmaus, PA 18049. Visitation will be held prior from 2:00-3:00 PM. Interment will be held private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Diane's Memory to Donate Life America.
