Denton L. Breininger, 78, of Allentown, died April 20, 2023 in his residence. He was the husband of Yun Hui (Yi) Breininger. Born in Hereford Twp., Berks County, he was the son of the late Wesley R. and Helen M. (Wertman) Breininger. Denton honorably served his country in the US Army for 20 years, retiring as Sergeant First Class, serving during Vietnam.

Denton is survived by his wife of 48 years, Yun Hui; son, William L. Breininger and wife Cindy of Macungie; daughter, Lisa A. wife of Jassen Mantz of Allentown; grandchildren, Gavin, Devon, Logan, Courtney, and Jassen, II; 6 great grandchildren; nephew, Greg Beers and wife Shawn and their son, Kaleb.

Funeral services will be held on Tues., April 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Interment with military honors will follow in Western Salisbury Cemetery.
