Dennis R. Moatz, age 68, of Allentown, passed away on November 6, 2023 in St. Luke's Hospital – Upper Bucks Campus. Born in Emmaus, he was a son of the late Raymond and Gladys (Hein) Moatz.

He graduated from Emmaus High School in 1974. He worked in the custodial department at Hatfield Quality Meats. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Emmaus.

Dennis loved to be outdoors and was an avid hunter.

Dennis is survived by his sister, Lori A. Bednarczyk; nephew and nieces, Adam, Serena and Kristina Bednarczyk. He was predeceased by sister, Ethel M. Moatz.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main Street, Emmaus, PA 18049. Viewing will be held prior from 10:00-11:00 AM. Interment will be held in Northwood Cemetery, Emmaus.
