Dennis R. Holland, Sr., 70, of Emmaus, died Dec. 17, 2018 in his residence. He was the husband of Lucy (Talbot) Holland. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Frances A. (Schmeltzle) and Kenneth R. Holland, Sr. Dennis worked in the sporting goods department at Walmart for 17 years. Previously he owned and operated Emmaus Cycle and Fitness and worked for George's Cyclery and Bike Line. He honorably served his country in the Army during Vietnam. He was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Upper Milford Field and Stream and Alburtis Rod and Gun Club.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 49 years, Lucy; Son, Dennis R. Holland, Jr. and wife Denise of Alburtis; Daughter, Lisa M. wife of Kevin Dries of Emmaus; Brother, Kenneth R. Holland, Jr. and wife Nancy of Emmaus; Grandchildren, Dennis and Samantha.

Memorial Services will be held on Sat., Dec. 22, 2018 at 10:30 AM in Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5901 Kings Highway South, Old Zionsville. Visitation 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church. Interment will follow in Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
