Dennis R. Bush, 72, of Allentown, died January 18, 2018 in St. Luke's Hospice House.  He was the beloved husband of Patricia I. (Seibert) Bush.  Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Howard and Eleanor (Masenheimer) Bush.  He was a master sergeant in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam conflict, and served in the Secret Service for the Kennedy Whitehouse including security detail for JFK's funeral procession.  He began his career as a chef in 1969 and retired as Vice President from the Brass Rail Restaurant in 2016.

Survivors: Wife of 47 years, Patricia; Children, Rusty Erney, Diana Erney, Keith Erney, and Debra Gerow; Brothers, John Bush and Howard Bush; Sister, Elaine Naugle; 6 Grandchildren and 1 Great Granddaughter.

Services: Private at the convenience of the family.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
