Delphine M. DeFrain, 88, of Macungie, died March 22, 2016 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of Clifford W. DeFrain, with whom she celebrated 69 years of marriage. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Sadie (Sell) Schaffer. She was a machine operator for Allen Organ for 29 years, retiring in 1996. She was a member of Solomon's U.C.C., Macungie.

Survivors: Husband; Sons, Larry DeFrain and wife Betsy of Emmaus, Dennis DeFrain and wife Debbie of Emmaus, and Dale DeFrain and wife Peg of Mertztown; Daughter, Sharon wife of Dan Fenstermacher of Breinigsville; 8 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Clarence and Robert Schaffer and Charles Kuhns and a sister, Lillian Minier

Services: Funeral Services Sat., March 26, 2016 at 10:30 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ziegels Union Church Cemetery.
