Debra A. Skrip, 64, of Emmaus, died Aug. 27, 2024 peacefully in her residence. She was the wife of Michael R. Skrip, having been married for the past 35 years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Emily R. (Benedick) and Samuel N. Landis, Sr. She was a 1978 graduate of Emmaus High School. Debbie worked in accounts receivables for Rodale Press, last working in 1998. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Emmaus. For over 35 years, she enjoyed her winter trips to Florida and many visits to the Disney parks.
Debra will be remembered by her husband, Michael; son, Elliot Billman and fiancée Jill and her children, Matthew and Lauren; sister, Juanita wife of Bill Wall; nieces, nephews, and cousins; longtime caretakers, Tina, Vicki, and Nicki. She was predeceased by brothers, Eugene Landis and Samuel N. Landis, Jr. and sister, Carolyn Hunsicker.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wed., Sept. 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 415 S. 6th St, Emmaus, PA 18049. Viewing Tues. 6:00 to 8:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus and Wed. 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to her church or the Emmaus Lions Club, P.O. Box 66, Emmaus, PA 18049.
