Debra Beers, 69, of Emmaus, passed away peacefully on Jan. 16, 2026 in LV Hospital, surrounded by her family.  She was the loving wife of James Beers, with whom she loved to travel and celebrated 46 years of marriage.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Betty and Donald Ruth.  Debra held several roles throughout her life, but her favorite and most proud title was always, Gaga.  She deeply loved her family and grandchildren who brought endless joy and smiles to her life.

Debra is survived by her husband, James; mother, Betty; brother, Dennis and wife Audrey; daughter, Michelle and husband Mike; son, Allen and wife Kelly; her beloved grandchildren, Dylan, Logan, Cole, Ryley, Liam, Caleb, and Jillian who will forever miss her.  She was preceded in death by her father, Donald.

Funeral services will be held on Thurs., Jan. 22, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus, PA 18049.  Viewing Wed., Jan. 21, 2026 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM and Thurs. 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in St. Mark's Cemetery, Allentown.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to establish a college education fund for Debra's grandchildren.
