David G. Schmoyer, 74, of Allentown, died August 7, 2018 in St. Luke's Hospice House. He was the husband of Gail (Snyder) Schmoyer with whom he shared 53 years of marriage with. Born in Coopersburg, he was the son of the late Ralph G. and Grace E. (Leh) Schmoyer. He was a diesel mechanic for Hall's, Airco, and Mack Trucks. David honorably served his country in the Air Force. H e is survived by his wife Gail; Brothers, George Schmoyer and wife Marion of Trumbauersville, Rodney Schmoyer and wife Lenore of Springtown, Larry Schmoyer and wife Nancy of East Greenville and Robert Schmoyer and wife Barbara of Zion Hall.  David was predeceased by sisters, Hattie Sandt and Janice Nickum and Brother-in-law, Melvin Nickum.  Honoring David's wishes there will be no formal service to take place.
