David M. Rickey, 64, of Pompano Beach, FL, died October 24, 2016 in Holy Cross Hospital, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Marilyn A. (Krauss) Rickey and the late Michael F. Rickey. David was a 1969 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School and a 1974 graduate of the College of Charleston. David served in the Peace Corp in Korea. He then was a Registered Nurse for over 30 years at Holy Cross Hospital.

Survivors: Mother, Marilyn A. Rickey of Allentown; Aunt, Marilyn Rickey of Pompano Beach, FL; Cousins.

Services: Funeral Service Friday, Oct. 28, 2016 at 1:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Visitation 12 Noon to 1:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.
