David L. Lehman, Sr. David L. Lehman, Sr., 80, of Emmaus, died February 27, 2010 in his home. He was the husband of Jeannette K. (Sprague) Lehman. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Edward H. and Sarah J. (Kleckner) Lehman. He was a graduate of Allentown High School, class of 1947 and Allentown Business College, class of 1950 with a degree in accounting. He was an assistant manager in the tool steel sales department of Bethlehem Steel for 32 years. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Emmaus where he served on council and as an usher. He was a member of the Emmaus Kiwanis Club and the Emmaus Mercantile Club, past secretary in the main office of Bethlehem Steel for their bowling and golf leagues, past president of Emmaus Meadow Pool and organized a tennis league in the Lehigh Valley area, which is still in existence. Survivors: Wife; Sons, David L. Lehman, Jr. and wife Judy of Colorado Springs, CO and Keith S. Lehman and wife Anne of Bethlehem; Daughters, Deborah K. wife of Dean Wessner of Allentown and Pamela Lehman of Emmaus; Grandchildren, David, III, Kathryn, Brad, Ashley, Benjamin, Michael and Wade. Services: Memorial Services Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 10:30 AM in St. Johns Lutheran Church, 501 Chestnut St., Emmaus. Friends may call Wednesday, March 3, 2010 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Interment will follow in Northwood Cemetery.
