David William Brady, 82, of Emmaus, died peacefully in his home on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022. He graduated from Allentown High School, class of 1957. He honorably served his country in the US Navy from 1958 to 1964 aboard the USS Beale DDE-471. Dave worked for the Morning Call for 25 years before moving his business to Emmaus. He owned and operated Dave's Interior Restorations since 1986. He has been a large presence in the community for 35 years. He was a member of AACA, BCA, and one of the original founders of the Free Spirit Chapter. Dave had a passion for cars, mostly Buick's and that was obvious when you walked into the office. Over the years, he created and crafted many award-winning interiors, yet always eager to serve his community. A man who truly lived his passion. He will be greatly missed.
David is survived by his wife, Deborah; daughters, April and Carol; grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Anna, Kathy, Mary, Judy, and Joann. He was predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Olga Yerk and siblings, Martha, Dawne, Pat, Eleanor, and Ernestine.
Funeral services will be held on Wed., Nov. 23, 2022 at 6:30 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 4:30 to 6:30 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in St. Mark's Cemetery, Allentown.
