David E. Acker David E. Acker, 72, of Emmaus, died August 19, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the widower of Jean B. (Glass) Acker. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Herbert J. and Ruth M. (Stoudt) Acker. He worked as a wood finisher for Allen Organ Company for 29 years, retiring in 2006. Survivors: Sister, Faith E. Wagner of Emmaus; Niece, Ruthann Phillips of Emmaus; Nephew, Randy Wagner of Allentown. He was predeceased by a brother, Delano "Sunny" Acker.
