Daniel W. Hamm, Sr. Daniel W. Hamm, Sr., Goomba , 63, of Emmaus, died January 28, 2008 in his home. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Frederick E. and Mary L. (Mertz) Hamm. He worked for Giant Food Market for the past 3 years. Prior to that he was head chef for Allentown Motor Inn, and a chef at Bethlehem Steel for 18 years. He was a member of Catholic War Vets, Emmaus VFW, Emmaus Fire Company # 1 and Unami Fish and Game. Survivors: Sons, Curt Hamm and Daniel W. Hamm, Jr. of Delaware; Daughter, Christine J. wife of Michael Lashbrook of Wilmington, DE; Brother, Frederick Hamm of Allentown, Sister, Sandra Beblavy of Allentown; Grandchildren, Matthew and Kaylee.
