Dale Franklin Wetherhold, 93, of Breinigsville, passed away peacefully May 20, 2026 in Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice. He was the husband of Linda (Terry) Wetherhold. Born in Cetronia, he was the son of the late Earl and Elsie (Klipple) Wetherhold. Dale was a welder and worked as a foreman for Morysville Body works until 1982. He then established Wetherhold Welding, Fabrications, and Repair and worked until retiring in 2020. He was a former member of Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church. Dale also volunteered for the Emmaus Fire Department. He had a passion for gardening, animals, and baking pies.

Dale is survived by his wife of 18 years, Linda; son, Scott Allen Wetherhold; daughter, Kathy Ann Smith; stepdaughters, Kimberly Fassetta, Caryn Anderson, and Christy Pallas; 7 grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Wallace Wetherhold. He was predeceased by his first wife, Marlene (Evans) Wetherhold; son, Michael Wetherhold; granddaughter, Tiffany; brothers, Douglas, Carlton, Laird, Harry, and Bruce Wetherhold; sisters, Sara Ellen Wetherhold and Doris Glina.

A memorial service will be held on Wed., May 27, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Northwood Cemetery.
