Dale V. Gaumer, 41, of Philadelphia, died suddenly in his home on Dec. 22, 2017.  Born in Allentown, he was the son of Diane R. (Sadrovitz) Krier and the late Henry W. Gaumer.  Dale worked as an optician for Modern Eye Care for the last 13 years.

Survivors: He is survived by his mother, Diane R. Krier of Zionsville; Nieces, Cassaundra Gaumer and Dyann Bertsch; Nephew, Brandon Bertsch.  He was predeceased by a stepfather, James E. Krier and a sister, Penny L. Gaumer Cope.

Services: A Celebration of Life will be held later.
