Dale D. Diehl, 58, of Emmaus, died May 23, 2014 in St. Luke's Hospice House. He was the husband of Donna K. (Miner) Diehl for 35 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Elaine (Vogel) Diehl of Emmaus and the late David Diehl. Prior to his illness he was employed at Amcor Rigid Plastics. He was a member of St. John's U.C.C. Dale was a member of Citizens Fire Co. #2, Emmaus Fire Company #1, the Mercantile Club of Emmaus, member of Emmaus Lodge #792 F&AM, member of the Irem Shriners, Dallas, and was a past member of Emmaus Fire Department and Fire Police. Survivors: Wife; Mother; Sons, Kevin D. Diehl and wife Lisa of Alburtis, Brian W. Diehl of Berwick, and Bradley S. Diehl of Emmaus; Brother, Ronald Diehl of Emmaus; Sister, Judy wife of Michael Kuncio of Orefield; Mother-in-Law, Lorraine Miner of Emmaus; Brothers-in-Law, Donald Miner and wife Susan of Emmaus, Gerald Angeli of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Sister-in-law, Carol wife of Nedric Wieder of Emmaus; Several Nieces and Nephews; Best friend Leon Whitesell; and his faithful companion Heidi. He was predeceased by a sister, Carol Angeli and father-in-law, William Miner. Services: Funeral Services Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 10:30 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.
