Dale R. Bortz Dale R. Bortz, 77, of Macungie, died January 29, 2014 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Patricia E. (Fry) Bortz, with whom he celebrated 56 years of marriage. Born in Wescosville, he was the son of the late Richard and Marie (Keiser) Bortz. He worked for Mack Trucks in the computer department for 43 years, retiring in 1998. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Allentown. He honorably served his country in the Army National Guard. Survivors: Wife; Son, Dr. Dale R. Bortz, Jr. and wife Regina of Mountaintop; Brother, Douglas Bortz of Port St. Lucie, FL; Grandchildren, Dr. Brandon James Bortz and Christina Elizabeth Bortz. Services: Memorial Services Sat., February 1, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of First Presbyterian Church of Allentown, 3231 West Tilghman St., Allentown, PA 18104.
