Cynthia J. Shakespeare, 68, of Macungie, died April 13, 2018 in her residence.  She was the wife of W. Jeffrey Shakespeare, with whom she celebrated 43 years of marriage.  Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Mary (Simpson) Farley.  She was a 1967 graduate of St. Gabriel's High School and a graduate of McCann Business School.  Cindy worked as a regulatory compliance specialist for Buckeye Pipeline for 10 years.  She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff; Sons, Dr. W. Gregory Shakespeare and wife Miral Patel of Sacramento, CA and Daniel Joseph "DJ" Shakespeare and wife Elaine Zundl of Jersey City, NJ; Daughter, Elizabeth wife of Jared Smith of San Diego, CA; Brother, George Farley of Palmyra; Sisters, Marianne Moran of Lewes, DE and Geraldine Farley of Lake Placid, FL; Grandson, Theodore Shakespeare Smith.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Sat., April 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown.  Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
