Cora Ann King, 53, of Greene, NY, died March 14, 2025.  Born in Greene, NY, she was the daughter of the late Richard Pope and Cora Burden.  Cora worked as an aide at Broome Developmental Center for many years.  When she wasn't working, she liked spending time with her family, camping, and watching the Cowboys.  She also enjoyed watching NASCAR.  Cora would look forward to facetiming with her grandson Gabriel for hours.  She was a strong, independent woman who spoke her mind and lived every day fearless.  She was a saint to most people who interacted with her and always a mentor to those in need.  Cora was a hero in the eyes of her peers and a shoulder to cry on when they needed.

Cora is survived by her sons, Robert Patrick King and Dylan James King; grandson, Gabriel James King; siblings, Pamela Alfred, Bonnie Allen, Mike Pope, Richard Pope, Brian Pope, Jason Decker, Brandi Decker, and Ben Decker.

A celebration of Cora's life will be held in New York.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
