Obituary

Clement R. Fenstermaker, 88, of Lower Macungie Twp., died March 12, 2022 in his home surrounded by his family.  He was the husband of Helen J. (Ashcraft) Fenstermaker.  Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Clement A. and Eva (Hertzog) Fenstermaker.  He honorably served his country in the Army during Korea.  He owned and operated Fenstermaker Painting and Papering for 50 years, retiring in 2002.  He was a member of St. Peter's Union Church.  Clem was a life member of Cetronia Fire Company, member of Macungie VFW, Legion, Emmaus Historical Society, and the Mercantile Club of Emmaus.  He enjoyed motorcycle riding, bowling, golf, and playing pinochle.

Clem is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Helen; daughters, Alexis M. wife of Scott Soltis and Jessica S. Decker; grandchildren, Tyler, Mason, Corbyn, Laycee, and Kaytee; many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by siblings, Richard Fenstermaker, Brinton Fenstermaker, Nancy Knauss, and Betty Kahle.

Memorial services with military honors will be held on Thurs. March 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM in St. Peter's Union Church, 7863 St. Peter's Rd., Macungie, PA 18062.  Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Peter's Union Church or Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2024 Lehigh St., Allentown, PA 18103.
