Clara M. Breunig, 96, of Macungie, died January 26, 2016 in Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice. She was the widow of William S. Breunig, Sr. Born in Tylersport, she was the daughter of the late John and Mamie (McNoldy) Hildenbrand. Clara was a cook for East Penn School District and Lower Milford Fire Company for many years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of Old Zionsville U.C.C. and an active member of their church kitchen, cooking for church dinners for over 40 years. She was a member of the Vera Cruz Auxiliary where she was president for four years and she was an avid bowler.
Survivors: Sons, William S. Breunig, Jr. and wife Sandra of East Greenville and Donald R. Breunig and wife Judith of Emmaus; 6 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandson. She was predeceased by 3 Sisters, 1 Brother, and 1 Step Sister.
Services: Funeral service will be held on Saturday Jan. 30, 2016 at 10:30 AM in Old Zionsville U.C.C., Fountain Rd. and Kings Highway, Old Zionsville. Viewing 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church. Interment will follow in Old Zionsville U.C.C. Cemetery. Schantz Funeral Home P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
