Charlotte E. Sellers Charlotte E. Sellers, of Allentown, died January 29, 2008 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of Dr. Walter E. Sellers. They were married 63 years ago on June 3rd, five days before Walter was shipped overseas to serve in WWII. They were separated for the next two years, writing to each other every day. Born in Altoona, Charlotte was the daughter of the late John and Lillian R. (Maier) Stoiber. She was a secretary for the Insurance Company of North America until the birth of her daughter, Pattie, in 1960. She was a member of St Catherine of Siena Church, a volunteer at St. Catherines and Allentown Central Catholic High School, and a member of Brookside Country Club, where she was a member of the Ladies Golf Association. As an avid bridge player, she belonged to the ACBL and played duplicate bridge. She enjoyed her family bass fishing excursions at the Opinicon Lodge in Ontario, Canada every July for 35 years. She was most proud of her daughter, who is an editor at large at Fortune Magazine. Survivors: Loving husband and daughter Patricia A. Sellers of New York, NY, and brother Walter J.
