November 5, 1923 – January 2, 2018
Charles E. Zellner, 94, of Emmaus, died Jan. 2, 2018 in Mosser Nursing Home. He was the husband of Winifred R. (Wehr) Zellner. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Charles T. and Pearl (Behney) Zellner. He worked for Steam Fitter Local #420 for over 60 years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church. He honorably served his country in the Marine Corps during WWII. He was a volunteer fireman for Emmaus Fire Department and was the secretary/treasurer of Local #670.
Survivors: Wife; Winifred; Sons, Charles W. Zellner of Emmaus, Carson B. Zellner of St. Lucia, and Chris B. Zellner and wife Sueann of Schnecksville; Daughters, Cheryl wife of Dennis Felegy of Emmaus and Corrine Hetrick and fiancé John Hoffman of Fleetwood; 10 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Lester Zellner and a sister, Pauline Adams.
Services: Funeral services will be held on Tues., Jan. 9, 2018 at 2:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, 3441 Devonshire Road, Allentown, PA 18103.
