Charles H. Schaffer Charles H. Schaffer, 78, of Emmaus, died Oct. 8, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Christine F. (Hallman) Schaffer. Born in Limeport, he was the son of the late Horace and Meri Schaffer. He worked for Air Products for 52 years, retiring in 2007. He honorably served his country in the Army. He was a member of Upper Milford and Alburtis Rod and Gun Clubs. Survivors: Wife; Son, James B. Schaffer and wife Donna of Emmaus; Daughter, Kathy S. Schaffer of Washington; Brother, Horace Schaffer of Quakertown; Sister, Mary Maitz of Coopersburg; Grandchildren, Christopher, Steve, Courtney, William, and Cassaundra; 2 Great Grandchildren. Services: Funeral Services Sat., October 12, 2013 at 10:30 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C.., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing Sat. 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
