Charles E. Russoli, 81, of Allentown, died March 16, 2015 in his residence. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Charles M. Russoli and Rose T. (Schwartz) Russoli. He graduated magna cum laude from Lehigh University in 1955 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies. While serving in the Army, he was a lead computer programmer on a special assignment to develop dispatching supplies to combat troops through the use of computers on mobile vans. HE was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of PPL Corp., where he worked in a number of positions before retiring in 1993. He served on the Board of Directors of PPL Corp. and Safe Harbor Water Power Corp. He served as an officer and Director of Utility Services Insurance Co., Ltd., Coakley Bay Condominium Association and Mentally Challenged Children's Association. He was President of CEP Group, Inc., a PPL Corp. investment subsidiary. He served as Chairman of an Executive Advisory committee of Edison Electric Institute. He was a member of the Financial Executives Institute and St. Thomas More Church. In recent years, he was an owner and participated in operations of retail stores in the Virgin Islands. Survivors: Son, Stuart and three Grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Marguerite A. (Sweeney) Russoli, Son, Scott and Brother, Edward.
