Charles F. Kissel Charles F. Kissel, 82, of Alburtis, died March 1, 2008 in his residence. He was the husband of Wilma R. (Horning) Kissel. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in January 2008. Born in Randolph, OH, he was the son of the late George and Emma (Huth) Kissel. He was an engineer for Buckeye Pipeline for 28 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of St. Anns Catholic Church, Emmaus and the Macungie VFW. He honorably served his country in the Army with the 89th Infantry Division during WWII. Survivors: Wife; Son, Charles J. Kissel of Randolph, VT; Daughters, Rebecca A. Spradlin of Emmaus, Kathleen Butz of Allentown, and Theresa McDermott of Emmaus; 11 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter Lizabeth Sikorski on August 11, 2007 Services: A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 11:00 AM in St. Anns Catholic Church, 415 North 6th St., Emmaus. Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the Schantz Funeral Home, inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
