Charles E. Deutsch, 84, formerly of Alburtis, died Nov. 14, 2024 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg.  He was the husband of the late Margaret M. (Groark) Deutsch.  Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Charles E. Deutsch, Sr. and Catherine (McElroy) Yarema.  Charlie was a salesman for Synthetic Thread for many years, retiring in 2003.  He was a member of the Mercantile Club of Emmaus and was an avid golfer.  He was an active and avid member of DCI and the Reading Buccaneers.

Charlie will be remembered by his daughters, Meredith M. wife of Brian Rodgers of Emmaus and Megan M. wife of Tim Stauffer of Glassboro, NJ; grandchildren, Mya, Natalie, and Seamus.

A memorial service will be held on Fri., Nov. 22, 2024 at 12 Noon in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Visitation 11:00 to 12 Noon in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to DeSales University, Division of Performing Arts.
